Fatra is a member of the AGROFERT HOLDING group that integrates leading agricultural, food industry and chemical businesses. In terms of turnover, AGROFERT, a.s. ranks first and second in the Czech agricultural and chemical sectors respectively.

Fatra, a.s. is one of the biggest processors of plastics (PVC, PE, PP and PET) in Central Europe and holds a significant share in the plastics industry in the Czech Republic. In 2010, the company’s proceeds from the sale of its products and services amounted to nearly Kč 2,45 mld. with half of the production being exported.

Fatra operates modern plastics production technologies in its two manufacturing facilities located in Napajedla and Chropyně, with 1,000 employees.

• BO PET – biaxial-oriented TENOLAN® polyester foils and FOLAM® laminates
• PPF and L – vapour permeable membranes and laminates marketed under the SONTEK F and SONTEK L brands
• Special products – foils and boards, injection products
