Manufacturing of PVC plasticized foils
Fatra is a traditional producer of plasticized vinyl foil.
Foils from plasticized PVC (PVC-P) are manufactured using calendering technology in various colours, from transparent up to rich coloured with different level of harness and wide range of designs. Foils do not contain any heavy metals.
Fatra produces also plasticized vinyl foils phthalate-free; these foils are always supplied with certificates.
The foil may be joined by gluing, sewing or high-frequency welding. Foils can be easily printed.
Use of foils:
- in office and school stationery
- in health care
- for vacuum packaging
- in tent production
- as tablecloths
- in automotive industry
- for welding, etc.
Processing waste from vinyl foils
Within the meaning if the Waste Act, polyvinylchloride waste is considered as other waste. Clean waste may be recycled. Waste unsuitable for
recycling may be burned in combustion plants designed for this purpose (waste contains fixed chlorine), or deposited to waste dumps.
