The primary school in Stare Skoszewy (Poland) has undergone a transformation that catches the eye at first glance – while also meeting high demands for durability and safety. The renovation brought an art-inspired interior along with functional solutions, including flooring that is exposed daily to hundreds of children and staff.
A key feature is the vinyl flooring from Fatra – specifically the Novoflor Extra collection. Its advantage lies in a uniform construction across the entire range: 2 mm total thickness and a 0.8 mm wear layer. This simplifies both design and selection, making décor the only deciding factor. The entire collection meets usage class 41–43, making it ideal for heavily used public spaces.
Various décors from the Wega, Virgo, Tauri and Grit collections were used throughout the interior, adding playfulness and dynamism to the space. The project demonstrates that flooring can be not only functional but also a distinctive design element.
The renovation in Skoszewy is a great example of how to combine high technical requirements with aesthetics and create a space that performs well and looks great. Learn more at fatrafloor.cz/en.
